Client Service Associate
Job Summary: The Client Service Representative will operate as part of the greater financial
advising and planning team, with the main function of supporting advisors to better service existing clients.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Client Meeting Preparation
o Requirement Minimum Distributions (RMDs)
o Money movements (systematic, recent, etc.)
o Outstanding tasks/Active project updates
o Client portfolio reports
• Organize and maintain filing system, client correspondence and other records via Salesforce.
o Log client emails/calls
o Organize meeting notes and files
o Manage contacts and households
o Update data fields
o Create and execute reports
• Collect, compile, and analyze moderately complex data and information.
o Retirement Modeling - MoneyGuide Pro
o Portfolio Analysis – Morningstar
o Modeling in Excel, Y-charts, etc.
▪ College funding, income models, growth models, etc.
• Provide client support and customer service on day-to-day inquiries from clients.
• Receive cross-training and assist with other operational functions as required.
o Trading, money movement, onboarding, and account management.
• Client Portal Training and Support
o Schwab Alliance – viewing, account management, reporting, digital tools, etc.
• Complete employer retirement plan rollovers with existing clients.
• Cash, Money Market, CD, and Treasury ladder management.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be organized with strict attention to details.
• Ability to multi-task with sound time management skills.
• A critical thinker and problem solver
• Solid professionalism and comfortable with client interaction
• Ability to learn new skills on the fly.
• Strong in Microsoft Excel
Education and Experience:
• Ideal: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years’ experience in customer service/sales/relationship management or in the financial
industry
